Unique Necklaces Designer Made in New York City
I’m Lisa Rosenberg. My collections feature unique necklaces designed and made by me in New York City, home to me and my dog, Fannie.
I love exploring the range of colors, shapes, textures and finishes in semiprecious stones and freshwater pearls. The materials inspire the designs. I design and make one necklace at a time, painstakingly choosing the stones and pearls. Each necklace is finished with a sterling silver, vermeil, or gold filled clasp that complements the look. Novel combinations lend freshness and modernity to the pieces. Some necklaces make truly bold statements, while more delicate designs make quieter statements through the juxtaposition of the elements.
I am not one to be pigeon holed, so my collections represent different looks. The jewelry I wear, and have collected for years, ranges from vintage Bakelite and sterling to pieces handcrafted by me or others. Because I value variety, I try to offer a range of designs in my collections.
My first three collections are featured here. “Beyond Basic Black”, “Luscious Layers”, and “Roughly on Leather”. “Beyond Basic Black” includes various black and grey stones with pops of color. The “Luscious Layers” collection features double and triple strand necklaces. The designs within the collection range from delicate to quite bold. Finally, the “Roughly on Leather” necklaces incorporate chunky, rough stones, stone slabs with round and other shapes on leather or suede. Some are on a single leather strand while, on others, I have hand knotted or braided suede or leather cord.
These collections are only the start. My designs are always evolving. Please check back to see what’s new. Take a chance, change up your look from time to time. It’s fun!

There you will find a selection of bracelets and necklaces made from vintage parts. Vintage and antique buttons bracelets, steampunk designs, they are all another aspect of my take on jewelry.
